A Personal Note from Randi:

Hi, I’m Randi Whitney—a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and creative thinker with a mission to inspire greatness in others. As the founder of Teach BIG and the author of numerous books, I’ve spent my career empowering educators, students, and readers to dream big, learn boldly, and achieve their full potential.

With over a decade of classroom experience, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with shaping young minds. My dedication to education led me to develop Teach BIG, where I create innovative tools, resources, and professional development opportunities that simplify complex language arts concepts and help students thrive.

I’m also a storyteller at heart. My novels, like The Knock, A Good Witness, and The Teacher Retreat, allow me to delve into suspenseful, thought-provoking worlds that captivate readers. Meanwhile, my children’s books, including Buffalo Nickel Ranch, Buggy Rides, and The Messes We Make, bring joy, life lessons, and imagination to young readers.

Beyond education and writing, I’m a proud mother of four grown children, the owner of Strawberry Fields Preschool, The owner of Teach BIG, and a ranch owner, alongside my high school sweetheart and two adorable dogs. Whether I’m crafting stories, developing educational materials, or enjoying life on the ranch, my purpose remains the same: to inspire, uplift, and make a lasting impact.

Every person has greatness within them—it’s my privilege to help others find it. 💫
